Field Trip

When Jonah was done learning about the letter E and Elephants we headed to the Okinawa City Zoo for a field trip. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun.
It was great the elephant caretakers had them do a few tricks for us.
We learned that our zoo has two Asian elephants.

The hippo's were out walking around, they are HUGE. I didn't realize they are so big...

Noah and Bekah Barnett joined us. Here is a picture of all the kids.

I will attempt to run off the massive volume of potatoes and cake consumed - including a national dish involving potatoes which are peeled, boiled, ground, strained and then stuffed with either meat or cottage cheese, served with a bacon gravy.

Am I one, or am I two?
Someone old, or someone new?

Glancing short, or glancing long?
Am I right, or am I wrong?

What I am, the light will show.
All I am, you soon will know.

If we had forgotten the name of our God

or spread out our hands to a foreign god,
would not God discover this?
For he knows the secrets of the heart.
(Psalm 44:20-21 ESV)
